Job Description

We're hiring a Head of Supply Chain for a high growth start-up company within the consumer space. This company has grown exponentially over the last couple of years and are now operating across multiple channels. This is a newly created role, that will lead and develop a team, as well as take ownership over a number of strategic projects. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and evolve the entire supply chain function, including forecasting, planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution, to support ambitious growth targets.Manage and grow a high-performing supply chain team, including direct oversight of planners and supply chain managers.Oversee warehouse planning, stock control, and inventory management to ensure consistent product availability and optimized cash flow.Build strong, strategic partnerships with suppliers to maintain high standards across quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.Manage third-party logistics (3PL) and shipping providers, ensuring timely and complete delivery to customers.Ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with the internal teams.Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to raw materials, packaging, and logistics to safeguard customer supply.Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product launches, market expansions, and business-wide operational initiatives.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics to enhance forecast accuracy, reduce costs, and streamline inventory.Own and enhance supply chain tools, systems, and dashboards to meet evolving operational requirements.Oversee supply chain budgets and KPIs, driving cost optimization without compromising qualityAbout YouProven leadership in scaling supply chain operations within a start-up, scale-up, or fast-paced FMCG environment.Strong expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, forecasting, inventory, and logistics.Advanced analytical and Excel modelling skills; familiarity with SQL or a strong desire to self-serve data is a plus.Commercially savvy, with a deep understanding of cash flow, cost drivers, and operational metrics.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.Experience supporting new product development and market launches.Experience working within regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or food) is highly desirable.Salary up to £90,000 plus equity and fantastic career development opportunities.
