Cambridge NeuroWorks Commercialisation & Impact Builder with proven ability to work across academic, commercial, and clinical boundaries and a clear passion for translating science into real-world patient benefit and scalable commercial outcomes is required for a well-established company based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.If youve worked as Head of Commercialisation, Venture Builder, Accelerator Program Manager / Director, Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR), Venture Partner, Director of Innovation or a similar role within a life sciences or healthtech, we would like to hear from you.SALARY: 72,000 - 78,000 per annumLOCATION: Cambridge, CambridgeshireJOB TYPE: Full-Time, Fixed Term Contract up to 30th Sept 2027 (with potential to extend)WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per weekJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Cambridge NeuroWorks Commercialisation & Impact Builder with proven ability to work across academic, commercial, and clinical boundaries and a clear passion for translating science into real-world patient benefit and scalable commercial outcomes.Working as the Cambridge NeuroWorks Commercialisation & Impact Builder you will work closely with researchers, founders, industry & healthcare stakeholders, and investors to shape and scale breakthrough ideas into investable, impactful ventures.As a Cambridge NeuroWorks Commercialisation & Impact Builder you will bring energy, urgency, and strategic thinking to accelerate the development and adoption of neurotechnology solutions emerging from academia and earlystage innovation. DUTIESYour duties as a Cambridge NeuroWorks Commercialisation & Impact Builder will include:Work with scientific founders to define clear commercialisation strategies, validate markets, and strengthen value propositionsCultivate partnerships with industry, investors, and health system stakeholders to accelerate development and adoptionContribute to the ongoing design and scaling of the wider fellowship and translational programmes across geographiesAct as a champion for the neurotechnology field, internally and externally, positioningIdentify and support high-potential ventures with mentorship, connections, and commercial insightsCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSRelevant undergraduate degree in the life sciences or other qualification with an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and trainingPostgraduate qualification in a relevant subject or significant post graduate ExperienceMBA (desirable)Commercial experience in the healthtech or life sciences industry, ideally with exposure to neurotechnology or adjacent sectorsA clear passion for translating science into real-world patient benefit and scalable commercial outcomesStrategic and hands-on: able to set direction and work directly with early-stage FoundersProven ability to work across academic, commercial, and clinical boundariesExperience of working with diverse stakeholders at all levels internally and externallyExperience of contracting and budgetary oversightScientific or technical background relevant to neuroscience, neurotechnology, or digital healthPrevious leadership in accelerator programmes, translational initiatives, or innovation support rolesA track record of entrepreneurship and early-stage venture development.Can work under pressure and to tight timelinesApproachable, friendly, helpful and supportive team playerAbility to think strategically and work proactively and on own initiativeUnderstanding of the UK and global innovation and healthcare ecosystemsA strong network within healthtech, biotech, venture capital, or research institutionsAbility to work across a matrix management structureExperience in business development, technology transfer, or venture-building EnvironmentsSupportive of the entrepreneurial journey and willing to provide a listening earExcellent written and oral communication skills and stakeholder engagement skillsUse of Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other packagesAble to demonstrate our company values (passion, teamwork, customer focus, commercial awareness and continuous improvement)BENEFITSPension Allowance - a Group Personal Pension Scheme and currently contributes 10.5% of salary subject to a staff contribution of 3%Holiday Entitlement - 25 days p.a. plus bank Holidays and 3 privilege days for Christmas ShutdownDiscretional Annual Bonus - Employees may be eligible for a discretional performance related bonusPrivate HealthcareEmployee Wellbeing Service - The scheme offers confidential support, information, expert advice and specialist counselling service to all employeesRestaurant FacilitiesSkills training is encouragedOnsite Accommodation - There are a number of hostels, flats and houses that can be rentedSocial - Sports & Social Club and onsite GymNursery and Holiday Playscheme on site.
