Graduate Teaching Assistant SEND - Cambridge September 2025 Start Location: Cambridge Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only) Pay: 88.10 per day (PAYE) Interviews: End of August / 1st Week of September 2025 Do you have a passion for inclusion and want to support students with special educational needs in a mainstream secondary school? A supportive secondary school in Cambridge is hiring an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have EHCPs and additional learning needs. As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with students who need extra help in class and during targeted interventions. This SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant role is perfect for graduates interested in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or SEND teaching. Key responsibilities:Providing 1:1 support to pupils with EHCPs or learning needsSupporting academic progress and emotional wellbeingAssisting teachers with differentiation and classroom routinesLeading small group catch-up or sensory-based activities We're looking for:A 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education or a related subjectPrevious experience with SEN or additional needs (voluntary or paid)Strong empathy, patience and resilienceFull-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026 Please note: Applicants must hold a UK undergraduate degree.
