Job SummaryThe Product Lead will own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for OrbitMobile offerings. This role requires deep knowledge of telecom products (e.g., voice, data, eSIM, roaming), excellent stakeholder management skills, and a strong ability to translate customer needs into innovative, scalable products. The Product Lead will work closely with engineering, marketing, commercial, and operations teams to ensure OrbitMobile remains a category-defining AI-enabled globally, own the MobileApp and Website.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership:Define and drive the product roadmap aligned with OrbitMobile’s strategic objectives.Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to launch and continuous optimization.Strategy & Innovation:Identify market trends, customer needs, and technological innovations (AI, eSIM, digital onboarding) to define competitive offerings.Champion the integration of AI/ML in customer engagement, personalization, and network optimization.Customer Experience:Design seamless, digital-first user journeys for activation, usage, and support.Collaborate with CX teams to ensure frictionless product experiences.Cross-Functional Leadership:Act as the product point-of-contact across functions including IT, commercial, marketing, and operations.Lead and coordinate with agile squads and technical teams for delivery execution.Market and Competitive Analysis:Conduct benchmarking and market analysis of competitors across regions (e.g., USA, UAE, Japan).Ensure OrbitMobile’s products offer unique differentiation (e.g., global eSIM travel plans, AI-powered plans).Vendor & Platform Oversight:Collaborate with BSS/OSS, billing, and platform vendors to implement new features and enhancements.Define technical requirements in coordination with engineering and solution architects.Product UX/UI:Use data analytics and feedback loops to iterate and improve product UX/UI.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Engineering, Telecom, or related field.6+ years in product management with at least 2–3 years in the telecom/ domain.Proven experience in launching telecom products (eSIM, mobile data, voice/SMS plans).Knowledge of telecom systems: BSS/OSS, CRM, billing, provisioning, and network architecture.Experience working with cross-border teams and managing global/regional launches is a plus.Key CompetenciesStrong strategic thinking and execution capability.Excellent communication and stakeholder management.Data-driven decision-making and familiarity with tools like Mixpanel, Tableau, JIRA.Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint planning.High customer empathy and a passion for delivering outstanding digital experiences.Preferred:Experience in AI-enabled products, digital onboarding (eKYC), and mobile app development.Exposure to MVNE/MVNA environments and wholesale mobile services.Multilingual and experience working in multicultural environments.
