Offices in four cities and three countries bring together more than 120 employees from more than 35 nations driven by core values of care, diversity, and excellence.Mission OverviewA Campaigns & Liaison Officer is responsible for communications and correspondence with the university and research network of our Connect Campaigns service, which is used by R&D teams in industry wishing to collaborate with universities, research institutes and other industry partners in order to help solve their latest challenges, enhance their current research outputs, or fill their pipeline with new products (from novel therapeutics to cutting-edge materials).The Campaign & Liaison Officer will engage with university professionals, academic researchers and biotech industry teams via email and video calls to promote Connect Campaigns and prompt submissions of opportunities for collaboration. The Campaign & Liaison Officer will contribute to the creation and delivery of reports to industry partners.ResponsibilitiesLiaising with university teams, academics, and companies across the globe to help them understand our clients’ requirementsManaging a busy email inbox, replying to enquiries about live campaigns and the status of applicant submissionsCreating actionable reports and spreadsheets to be delivered to our clientsSuccinctly summarise complex research topics into simple termsEfficient teamwork and collaborative work ethic, ensuring client projects are on track and always delivered to deadlinesOngoing planning and discussion with team members to produce the most effective and efficient resultsWorking with the entire team to contribute to the future development of the Campaigns product and feature releasesOther tasks that are reasonably required to effectively manage the needs of the businessQualificationsSTEM degree from any discipline, with a BSc or higher in a Life Science discipline highly desirableAlways communicate verbally with confidence and full professionalismHave strong communication skills to summarise complex research topics into simple termsBe self-motivated and able to keep accurate records of workManage time effectively and work to strict deadlines at a high standardTake any required Teams calls independently and with confidence (after some initial call training and support)Have knowledge of IT suites such as Microsoft Office, with prior use of customer relationship management (CRM) software being desirableBe excited to take ownership of a role and be driven by an enjoyment in understanding new research and its translation into commercial applicationsYou must have a keen interest in science and be confident in understanding and communicating researchBe able to work independently and as part of a teamExperience of Adobe InDesign, or similar document design systems, would be advantageousAs part of our equal opportunities policy, we strongly encourage all qualified individuals to apply for the advertised position, regardless of origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability or any other legally protected status.
