CNC Turner

Job Summary My client is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and be able to operate XYZ Prototrak CNC lathes to produce precision components. You will need to be able to interpret drawings, and produce a high quality level of production. Duties Operate CNC turning machines to fabricate components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Set up and adjust machine tools, including mills, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy. Utilise hand tools for finishing processes and quality checks on produced parts. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure reliability and efficiency. Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials from machines. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Operate XYZ CNC Lathe to machine components according to specifications. Loading and unloading materials from machines Read and interpret technical drawings Conduct basic maths calculations Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Turner or in a similar machining role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control processes. Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment, demonstrating good materials handling skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
