Were looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Business Account Manager to join a growing team based in Bury St Edmunds. This role offers full training, career development, and the opportunity to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays. The Role Youll work closely with experienced Account Managers to support and develop relationships with key clients in the new build sector. Over time, youll take responsibility for managing your own accounts, providing first-class service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Support Account Managers and learn the full scope of the role. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts. Manage a small portfolio of accounts to a high standard. Prepare quotations, manage call-offs, and handle variations or amendments. Monitor delivery schedules and ensure smooth project progress. Drive growth within existing accounts. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and client needs. About You Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Confident communicator at all levels. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and professional. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects. Competent with Microsoft Office and general computer use. Full UK driving licence (essential). CSCS card required (or willingness to obtain within 4 weeks).
