Starting salary: 36,000 per annum plus bonusesPost: Installation ManagerLocation: Bury St Edmunds Depot, IP32 7ABMonday Friday, 42.5 hours a weekStarting salary: 36,000 per annum plus bonusesMain Purpose of RoleThis post is responsible for the overseeing and direction of self-employed window & door, conservatory and roofline installation teams. Responsible for ensuring the workmanship and skills of the installation teams is maintained to a satisfactory level through on-site observation, training and recruitment to achieve a high-class home installation of our product range in our clients homes. As installation manager you are responsible for the collection of all debt on installations. This role requires you to drive.MAIN DUTIESEnsuring the satisfactory completion of installations allocated to your installation teams.Regular on-site supervision and quality control of installations.Ensuring that customer relations are maintained to the highest possible level and being the first port of call to resolve local installation issues.Collection of all debt on allocated installations.Responsible for training. This includes any Health & Safety training for your installation teams, ensuring it is completed and recorded in a timely fashion.Responsible for on-site Health and Safety, including the reporting of asbestos related issues according to First Home Improvements (England) Ltd H&S process.Ensuring that vehicle checklists are accurate and returned as necessaryResolving survey problems when highlighted quickly and efficiently, keeping all necessary parties informed.Oversee and confirmation of installation team wages to the Regional Operations ManagerKNOWLEDGE & SKILL & ATTRIBUTESEssential5 years practical installation and or management experience of either domestic Window & Door / Conservatory / Roofline installationsProven knowledge within in the window & door industryBasic IT skillsUnderstanding of Health & Safety in an installation environmentDesire to get the job doneGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenDesirableExperience of recruiting self-employed installersPrevious site supervision experiencePrevious experience of training installersProblem solving skillsPrevious experience of debt management / collectionCompetencies: Ability to work effectively with minimum supervisionAbility to work under pressure and be flexibleAbility to make well balanced and good decisionsEssential Knowledge & Skill5 years practical installation and or management experience of either domestic Window & Door / Conservatory / Roofline installationsProven knowledge within in the window & door industryUnderstanding of Health & Safety in an installation environmentGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenBasic IT skillsFull UK Driving Licence is requiredAbout This Role30 days paid annual holiday (including Bank Holidays)Christmas - New Year close downCompany PensionDiscounts on company productsJBRP1_UKTJ
