About the Role: We are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Senior Level Health and Safety Specialist. for this multi-site, predominantly North-West based role, to become a lead member within the UK Health and Safety team. Skills Strong understanding of SHEQ regulations and standards including COMAH, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001. Skilled in risk assessments, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Proficient in process safety management and control of chemical hazards. Capable of conducting audits and ensuring ongoing compliance. Able to lead cross-functional teams, influence culture, and drive continuous improvement. Experience in delivering safety and quality training programs to staff at all levels. Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders. Able to analyse trends and compile regulatory and internal reports. Knowledgeable in emergency response planning specific to chemical manufacturing. Experience Substantial experience in a SHEQ leadership role within the chemical or process manufacturing sector. Chartered Member of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health Hands-on experience working with local and international safety, environmental, and quality standards. Proven track record in implementing SHEQ systems and initiatives in high-risk industrial environments.
