HGV Mechanic

Job Title: HGV Mechanic Location: Bury Pay: 16.00 19.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Description: We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a busy and well-established workshop based in Bury . This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and a friendly working environment. Qualifications are not essential , but previous experience working on HGVs is required . Key Responsibilities: Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs Performing inspections and servicing to DVSA standards Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV mechanic or technician Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and a proactive approach Own tools preferred but not essential What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: 16 19 per hour (DOE) Monday to Friday work no weekends Stable, full-time hours Supportive and professional workshop team Opportunity to work with a reputable company in the industry TPBN1_UKTJ
