Production Manager

Job Description A well-established food manufacturer based in Staffordshire is continuing to invest in its operations and is now looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to support the ongoing growth of the site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment and play a key role in leading production performance across a large operation.The successful Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing production activities across a busy site, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, efficiency and team engagement are consistently maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop large production teams across multiple departments and production linesEnsure full compliance with food safety, quality and hygiene standards, particularly within high care and high risk environmentsManage operational KPIs including productivity, waste, labour efficiency and service levelsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production performance and operational efficiencyWork closely with technical, engineering, planning and supply chain teams to ensure smooth daily operationsMaintain strong leadership presence on the factory floor, supporting team leaders and supervisorsEnsure the site remains fully compliant with health 'safety, GMP and audit standardsAbout YouProven experience working as a Production Manager within food manufacturingStrong leadership experience managing large teams within a complex manufacturing siteSolid understanding of high care and high risk food production environmentsA confident and proactive leader who can motivate teams and drive operational performanceStrong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience implementing continuous improvement initiatives within production operationsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join a growing food manufacturing business that is investing in both its people and production capability.If you are a driven Production Manager looking for your next challenge within a dynamic and complex manufacturing environment, we would be keen to speak with you.
