They pride themselves on delivering high-quality, tailored accountancy services while fostering a supportive and professional team environment.This is an ideal setting for experienced accountants looking to develop their skills further.Are you the right person for the job?EssentialMinimum 4 years' UK accountancy practice experience (essential)Strong accounts preparation skills (not just VAT/bookkeeping)Good IT skills across Excel, Word, and OutlookFamiliarity with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or IRIS or similar accounts preparation softwareAbility to multitask, prioritise and work to a tight deadlineA full driving licence and access to your own car (for occasional client visits, expenses paid)To live within 30 minutes' travel of the officeTeam player with friendly, approachable and positive professional outlookDesirable but not essential:Audit experienceACA/ACCA qualifications (not required experience is key)What will your role look like?Prepare financial statements for a diverse client base, including sole traders, partnerships, and SMEsComplete VAT returns and assist with other tax compliance tasksPrepare supporting documentation and workpapers for partner reviewEngage in audit activities as required, depending on client needsMaintain accurate and up-to-date client recordsCommunicate effectively with clients to address queries and provide adviceEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulationsPreparation of business tax and capital allowances computationsSelf-assessment preparationWhat can you expect in return?Competitive salary: 35,000 42,000 per annum (DOE)20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAdditional paid time off between Christmas and New Year ("partner days")Company pension scheme to comply with auto-enrolmentFree on-site parkingExpenses paid for client visitsA supportive and collaborative working environmentWhat's next?
