Customs Clearance Operator - Burntwood Salary: Up to 30,000 (DOE) Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 Type: Full-time, Permanent (Hybrid after probation - 3 office / 2 home) We're recruiting a Customs Clearance Operator to join one of our clients based out of Burntwood. Key Responsibilities Process import and export customs clearances across air, sea and road freight Complete and submit declarations accurately and within required timeframes Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment processing Check and manage all required customs documentation, resolving any issues Calculate duties and taxes and ensure timely clearance of shipments Provide regular updates and excellent service to customers Manage shared inbox enquiries efficiently as part of the team Requirements Previous experience in customs clearance (imports/exports) for a UK based freight forwarder Good understanding of UK/EU customs procedures and documentation Familiarity with systems such as CDS, NCTS or Destin8 is advantageous Knowledge of Incoterms and the freight industry Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
