Solar Project Manager

About the RoleOur client is an established UK renewable energy company delivering commercial-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. They have a strong pipeline of projects and work with major commercial clients across the country.You'll manage multiple commercial solar and BESS projects from design handover through to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesManage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers across multiple commercial projectsCoordinate civil, electrical, and battery storage installation worksWork with DNOs and technical consultants to ensure regulatory complianceComplete DNO applications, MCS certification, and project documentationMaintain HSEQ standards in line with CDM regulationsMonitor project performance, risks, and costsSupport contract negotiations and procurement for BESS componentsExperience:3+ years managing commercial solar PV and/or BESS projectsTechnical understanding of solar and battery storage installationsExperience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractorsKnowledge of DNO processes (G98/G99) and MCS standardsSkills:Strong HSEQ knowledge and CDM 2015 complianceExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProject planning and reporting skillsPreferredBackground in EPC, electrical contracting, or renewable energy consultancyExperience with project planning software (MS Project, Primavera)Proficiency in PV design software (PV*Sol, SolarEdge Designer)What's On OfferPerformance-based bonusCareer development opportunities within a growing companyCompany vehicle or travel allowanceComprehensive benefits package including ongoing trainingThis is a hands-on role suitable for an experienced project manager looking to work on large-scale renewable energy projects with a well-established company.
