Fuel Technician

Reporting to the fuel team leader, you will be responsible for carrying out overall fuel handling duties throughout the fuel field product lifecycle. Your new role Operate the fuel handling and by-product plants with respect to safety, environmental and operational limits Carry out day-to-day duties as and when requested, such as fuel sampling, storage and delivery intake. Provide operational support to the operations and maintenance teams to maximise plant performance Undertake all required loading and unloading activities for general site deliveries, Ensure all fuel handling activities are recorded and report any problems/defects etc. This is a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and duties will be required. What you'll need to succeed Experience in a similar role or similar hands-on manufacturing role. Ability to work to strict daily tasks and duties Experience using Counterbalance FLT/ Front Loader/Telescopic Handler and Overhead Grab Crane or similar would be advantageous. Ability to work with manual machinery and equipment Knowledge and experience of working in a power station or biomass environment would be highly desirable.
