Job Description Medical AdvisorHybrid Buckinghamshire (2 days per week)12-Month Contract | Immediate / Short-Notice Candidates PreferredWe are supporting a global biotechnology organisation specialising in rare autoimmune diseases as they continue to expand their UK team.The company is seeking a Medical Advisor to join the UK organisation during an important phase of growth.This is a key role within a small and highly collaborative UK team, where the successful candidate will contribute to medical strategy, stakeholder engagement and cross-functional planning within a rare neurological disease area.The RoleThe Medical Advisor will provide scientific expertise within the therapy area and work closely with colleagues across medical, marketing and market access to support the development and delivery of UK medical plans.Given the size of the UK team, this position offers significant visibility and the opportunity to contribute across multiple functions, playing an important role in shaping how medical activities are delivered.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide scientific and medical expertise within the relevant disease areaSupport the development and implementation of UK medical plansEngage with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to gather clinical insightsContribute to cross-functional planning alongside medical, marketing and market access colleaguesSupport appropriate scientific exchange and educational initiativesAttend relevant scientific meetings and congresses to gather insights and share learnings internallyCandidates should bring:Experience working within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industryStrong scientific understanding and the ability to communicate complex data clearlyExperience engaging with healthcare professionals and clinical stakeholdersUnderstanding of the UK healthcare environment and compliance frameworksAbility to work effectively within cross-functional teamsExperience in specialty care, rare disease, neurology or immunology would be beneficial but is not essential.Working EnvironmentYou will join a small, highly collaborative UK team operating in an entrepreneurial environment during a period of significant growth.The organisation is exploring new ways of engaging with the healthcare community, including digital-first initiatives and innovative support programmes, and values individuals who are curious, proactive and comfortable contributing ideas.The environment offers a strong opportunity for learning and professional development, particularly for individuals who enjoy helping shape new approaches within a developing team.To find out more, please apply online or contact CHASE for further information on 0131 553 6644.Reference number: 2128
