Engineering Project Manager

Job Description Alexander Steele are once again working with a well-established, multi-site, global food manufacturing business seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to deliver capital and infrastructure projects within a fast-paced production environment.This is a hands-on role managing projects end-to-end from concept and design through to installation, commissioning and handover while maintaining strict environmental, H&S and performance standards.Salary is 75k, plus car, bonus and pension.The Role:Manage multiple concurrent engineering projects in line with company standardsLead tender processes and appoint suppliers, agreeing contracts and termsWork cross-functionally with Operations, Technical, Commercial and NPD to define equipment and plant design criteriaConduct feasibility studies and engineering design reviews for major capital projectsDraft and present CAPEX proposalsOversee contractors on-site, ensuring works are delivered safely and to specificationManage projects across Buildings, Mechanical, Electrical and ProcessControl budgets, spend, purchase orders and invoicingMaintain CAD layouts and detailed site documentationSupport wider engineering and technical challenges across sites when requiredSuccess in this role means delivering projects safely, on time, to scope and budget with minimal disruption to 24/7 operations.About You:Degree-qualified in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)Strong hands-on background within a food production or food manufacturing environmentProven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneouslyComfortable overseeing contractors within live operational settingsExperience delivering projects involving M&E services, utilities, new equipment and building worksWorking knowledge of CDM 2015 regulationsProficient in AutoCAD and project management toolsYoull be process-driven, commercially aware and comfortable operating both in the office and on the shop floor.
