Job Description Oliver Sanderson is partnered with a leading facilities organisation to appoint a Bid Manager into its growing commercial team.This is a key role leading the end-to-end delivery of high-quality bids for major public sector contracts, typically valued at 1m3m+ with long-term (510 year) agreements.Youll combine strong bid writing, commercial awareness, and creative thinking to produce compelling, winning submissions in a competitive market.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full bid lifecycle from qualification to submissionWrite and manage high-quality, persuasive tender responsesDevelop clear win strategies and value propositionsCollaborate with internal teams to shape solutions and contentEnsure compliance with public sector procurement requirementsManage multiple bids to tight deadlines (36 month cycles)Drive innovation in bid processes, including use of AI toolsSkills & ExperienceProven bid management and writing experienceStrong track record in public sector tendersExcellent writing and storytelling skillsExperience managing bids 1m+Strong organisation and stakeholder managementCommercial awareness and attention to detailInnovative mindset with openness to AI-enabled approachesThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering essential services across the UK, with real impact on communities and the public environment.This is a hybrid role with 23 days per week in officeThis role has an exciting package on offer.If this opportunity aligns with your experience and ambitions, apply today!
