Mechanical Supervisor

Job Title: Mechanical Site Supervisor Salary: 45k - 52k -DOE + Car + Expenses Based: Buckingham Job Summary To visit multiple construction sites around the UK and liaise with sites personnel, Project Managers, Contracts Director and client representatives to deliver successful installations smoothly, on time and within a safe working environment, responsible for supervision of site teams. Key Responsibilities Supervision of site teams. Liaise with contract team regarding current projects and current status. Liaise with site teams to check/monitor Health & Safety Compliance. Carrying out site toolbox talks, mentor installers regarding safe practises on site. Participating in H&S meetings and site audits. Attend site meetings to assist contracts team. Communication between site teams and office. Assisting with Plant Hires/Off Hires, Deliveries & site clearances. Checking hired plant certification. Checking installers working in accordance with RAMS. Check installers have copies of site installer packs. Monitoring/Checking Installer Plant & Tool certifications, & PPE suitability. Conduct site surveys as directed by the Contracts Team Producing & Submitting Lifting Plans to clients. To manage time to maximise site time with installation teams. Commissioning duties to completed installations. Alarm Wire Surveys as directed by Contracts Team. As directed by contracts team reporting & taking ownership for follow up actions from multiple UK sites to include Required Skills / Experience SSSTS / SMSTS CPCS Lift Supervisor CPCS Slinger/Signaller CSCS IOSH Ideally possessing an associated trade qualification (M&E, pipe welding/fitting, building services, HVAC, groundworks / civil works) Experience working for a contractor. Must be highly organised. Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be computer literate. Must have excellent communication skills at all levels. Must be hardworking, reliable and possess a good work ethic. Must be able to deal with multiple projects simultaneously.
