Job DescriptionApplying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.Passive Fire Surveyor / SupervisorLocation: East Anglia region (multi-site travel)Salary: 40,000+ (depending on experience)Type: Permanent | Full-timeAbout the RoleA well-established national property services and compliance contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor / Supervisor to support projects across the East Anglia region.This role will involve surveying fire doors, fire stopping systems, and compartmentation across a range of environments including social housing, healthcare, education and public sector buildings. The position requires both independent and team-based working across multiple sites.You will also provide guidance to installation teams, ensure compliance with passive fire protection standards, and help maintain high levels of quality and safety on projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct surveys of fire doors, fire stopping systems, and compartmentation linesWork across sectors such as social housing, healthcare, education and public sector facilitiesProvide supervision and technical guidance to fire door and fire stopping teamsIdentify issues and ensure works meet compliance standards and best practiceCarry out minor remedial adjustments where required (e.g. door closers, locks, letterplates)Record surveys using a digital inspection platform on a tablet deviceWork across multiple locations within the East Anglia regionOperate both independently and as part of a wider teamRequirementsMinimum 3+ years experience surveying fire doors and/or passive fire protectionBackground as a fire door installer or fire stopper preferredStrong knowledge of passive fire regulations, certification and complianceFamiliarity with certification schemes such as FIRAS or BM TRADA (preferred)Experience using digital inspection/reporting xjdpvnf systems (training provided if needed)Good IT skillsFull UK driving licenceOwn basic hand toolsSSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)Positive attitude and ability to work independently when requiredAdditional RequirementsEnhanced DBS checkRole may involve working at height, confined spaces, and manual handlingBenefitsSalary starting around 40,000+ per year25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany vehicle and fuel cardTablet device and uniform providedLife insuranceSupport with industry certification and professional development
