Technical Sales Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, and delivering engineered pump solutions to customers across a range of sectors.Responsibilities include:Identify and secure new business opportunities within target industriesManage and grow existing customer accountsProvide technical consultation on pump selection and system designInterpret customer requirements, technical drawings, and specificationsPrepare detailed quotations, proposals, and tender submissionsConduct site visits and application surveysWork closely with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate specification and project deliveryNegotiate pricing and contracts to achieve revenue and margin targetsMaintain accurate CRM records and sales forecastsMonitor competitor activity and market trendsSkills and Experience:Proven experience working with hydraulic systems (mobile or industrial)Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret hydraulic diagramsMechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent preferred)Full clean driving licenceStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
