Business Analyst

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst for an initial 9 month fixed term contract on a salary of £38,000-£47,000/annum. This role will be based in Edinburgh.Responsibilities:- Capture, analyse and refine business requirements for the future website.- Map and design processes to support a modernised, user-centric digital journey.- Engage with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and project teams to align needs and solutions.- Support solution validation, UAT, and documentation to ensure successful delivery.- Champion continuous improvement and innovation throughout the project lifecycle.Essential Skills:- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex digital or web transformation projects.- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.- Ability to translate strategic objectives into clear operational and technical requirements.- Proficiency with BA and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Visio).If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
