We are recruiting for a dynamic Inventory Manager to lead a fast-paced, global distribution facility based in Dartford.The Role:As Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the site. Working cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and ripening teams, your leadership will help maintain optimal stock levels, minimise waste, and drive improvements in traceability and warehouse organisation.Key Responsibilities:Ensure inventory compliance with regular audits, stock accuracy, and data integrityManage inventory processes including GR2 and dump stock, customer returns, and reconciliationsMaintain clear, organised inventory locations and ensure accurate labelingProactively monitor stock age and shelf life to mitigate risks and financial lossCollaborate with finance, sourcing, and supply chain teams on inventory reportingLead, train, and support site teams in inventory best practicesDrive continuous improvement across all inventory-related operationsMaintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Uphold health & safety standards and contribute to a culture of accountabilityAbout You:Minimum 5 years' experience in inventory management within the produce or food sectorA natural leader with excellent organisational and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis toolsStrong problem-solving and project management abilitiesAble to work independently, take initiative, and thrive under pressureExperience in cross-functional collaboration and process developmentIf youre passionate about inventory excellence and ready to make a meaningful impact in a leading food environment, apply now or get in touch to learn more.TPBN1_UKTJ
