Fixed Term salaried GP - Sick Leave Cover 6-9 months - BroadwayWe are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic GP on a fixed term contract to cover sick leave for a minimum of 6, but likely 9 months.We would like this to be for 3 days/6 sessions a week from 9th AprilDays to work will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.Send your CV to Jenny Yates or apply online with a CVMain duties of the jobTo support the GP partners and colleagues in the Practice and to manage a busy, interesting clinical caseload.To work as part of a full practice team that values contribution from all roles and engages to mutually support each other to provide the best patient experience.About usNew Barn Close Surgery is a dispensing GP surgery located in Broadway, Worcestershire, with 3 GP partners and 5 salaried GP's providing primary care services to approximately 8000 patients.We are a training practice for Specialist Trainee GP doctors and have a rotating final year medical student from Birmingham University.We moved into our new surgery in October 2021 which provides us with a modern purpose built building to meet all our patient and staff needs. We have ample car parking for staff and patients, including electric car charging points.We have a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, HCAs and phlebotomist's, dispensing staff, care-co-coordinator, administrative and reception staff.We have an onsite dispensary which serves approximately 50% of our patients.Our close-knit team is committed to offering high quality, safe and effective care with a focus on providing excellent patient access and continuity of care.We are a friendly welcoming team and pride ourselves in the communication between colleagues and after morning surgery clinicians gather for coffee, well-being and general catch-up and review any practice issues, patients, and referrals.We were rated as overall Good in our last CQC inspectionWebsite responsibilitiesTo support the GP partners and colleagues in the Practice to manage a busy, interesting clinical caseload.To work as part of a full practice team that values contribution from all roles and engages to mutually support each other to provide the best patient experience.Person SpecificationExperienceExperience of working as a GP in primary care.
