About UsWe are a growing design and build practice specialising in a variety of projects including high-quality residential projects, extensions, loft conversions, new builds, flat conversions and commercial projects. Our focus is on delivering exceptional design solutions while providing a seamless client experience from concept through to completion.Our main office is located at 2 Lakeside Drive, NW10 7FQ, and this is where you will be working from.The RoleWe are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential design and planning, with the ability to confidently manage projects from start to finish. This is a client-facing role, requiring excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to understanding clients’ needs and translating them into innovative, compliant designs.You will be responsible for:Taking on new enquiries, providing clear and accurate advice to clients.Managing your own projects independently, from initial consultation to design completion.Producing planning drawings and technical designs that align with the latest Building Regulations.Advising on permitted development rights and when to pursue a full planning application.Marking up drawings and mentoring junior team members, offering design improvements and guidance.Managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and client expectations.Liaising with clients, our own structural and civil engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in architectureMinimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in residential architecture.Strong understanding of UK planning policies, permitted development rights, and planning application processes.Proficiency in Revit (preferred), but AutoCAD or ArchiCAD experience also considered.Excellent knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and construction standards.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle several projects at once.Exceptional attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.Confident communicator with outstanding client-facing and interpersonal skills.Collaborative team player with initiative and self-motivation.OfferCompetitive salary between £38,000 – £50,000, based on experience and expertise.Opportunity to work on varied, meaningful residential projects.Career development with room to grow and take on senior responsibilities.Ability to Invest into our own property development dealsSupportive and collaborative work environment.Flexibility to work from home part-time following a successful probation period.If you are passionate about residential architecture, enjoy working closely with clients, and want to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking practice, we’d love to hear from you.Please send your CV, portfolio, and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience to:
