Basic Function: Based in the North of England and supporting Scotland, the Key Account Manager position supports customer with improving vehicle uptime, track fleet performance, identify trends, define action plans for improvements in necessary areas. Working in partnership with the dealer network to ensure customer is fully satisfied with the service provided by the brand.Key Responsibilities:Customer centricity is at the core of our organisation, you will provide a first class support function to our customers. To administer operational support on effectively managing their commercial fleet, connecting with key Business Executives and stakeholders. You will liaise with cross-functional internal teams, including but not limited to Parts, Sales, Quality, Engineering and our dealer partners with the aim of a first class customer experience.Core Responsibilities:Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accountsBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsRespond to in-life service, support, and technical queries by facilitating remedial actions and managing various support programsEnsure service dealers adhere to SLA's and investigate any non-complianceArrange meetings between the customer, service dealers and repair agents to manage the necessary day to day relationships and challenges of running commercial vehicles.Produce high quality visit reports, generate, and track account projects ensuring programs run to time and allocated budgetGenerate and present monthly and quarterly performance reporting packs for your assigned accountsManage defined commercial support budget Job requirements and qualifications:Proven work experience as an Aftersales Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or relevant role within the Automotive IndustryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop productive partnerships, communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisationHigh level of business planning, organisational & problem-solving skills in a pressurised environmentStrong analytical ability to interrogate data, understand trends and ability to drive necessary actions based on completed analysisExperience delivering client-focused solutions to support customer needsProven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detailHighly motivated with drive & determination to succeed & willingness to adapt to changeA good degree of technical knowledge in commercial vehicles, although a technical qualification is not required it is desirableStrong commercial acumen and presentation skills, particularly with Excel, PowerPoint & word etcThe role will be field based with 40-50% of the time spent with Dealers or CustomersOvernight stays will occasionally be requiredAbility to work in the UKFull clean driving licenceIt is a condition of employment that employees may be required to undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required of them. Furthermore, it may be necessary to change the roles and responsibilities from time to time.
