The Company:My client is a specialist in design and build commercial office fit-outs and refurbishments, with a strong reputation for delivering beautifully crafted spaces that balance aesthetics with performance. Their team is tight-knit, professional, and passionate about quality — and they’re now looking for someone who can help drive the design arm of the business forward.The Role:As Design Manager, you’ll oversee the full design journey — managing drawing production, coordinating external consultants, and ensuring compliance with programme and regulatory standards. The right person will be technically strong in Revit, confident in client-facing environments, and experienced in the commercial interiors sector.Key Responsibilities:Produce detailed construction issue drawings in RevitCheck and collate technical drawings from external sub-contractorsManage design programmes and schedules to align with project timelinesLead design meetings with contractors, suppliers, and client consultantsAttend regular site and client meetings to ensure smooth deliveryPrepare and collate designer risk assessments in line with CDMWhat We’re Looking For:Experience in commercial fit-out or workplace design is essentialProficiency in Revit and technical drawing productionComfortable leading coordination with contractors and design teamsKnowledge of UK building regulations and CDM responsibilitiesStrong organisational and communication skillsDegree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or similar is preferredThe Offer:Competitive salary up to £100,000 depending on experiencePermanent, full-time position with a stable, reputable employerA clear opportunity to take ownership of the design processExciting project pipeline with reputable end clientsOffice-based role in North Bristol
