Teaching Assistant | Primary School | PrestonWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support learning in a Primary School in Preston. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted 1:1 and small group support, including some work with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full-time position starting immediately, with a contract length of 3 to 6 months, offering competitive daily pay based on experience. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils across EYFS/KS1/KS2 (depending on placement)Provide 1:1 or small group SEN support under teacher guidanceAssist with classroom management and behaviour strategiesHelp prepare learning materials and classroom resourcesPromote inclusion and support individual learning plansRecord observations and report pupil progress to teachersRequirementsMinimum of 6 months’ recent experience in a school settingExperience supporting children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language)TA qualification (Level 2 or higher) or equivalent experienceGood literacy and numeracy skillsStrong communication and teamwork skills
