Lead Clinical Scientist

We're collaborating with an innovative, small-sized biopharma on an search for a Lead Clinical Scientist or Director of Clinical Science to drive their immunology trials. This is an exciting initial 12-month contract where you'll be at the heart of the action, driving clinical strategy in a hands-on, impactful role.This isn't a large, slow-moving company; it's a dynamic team where your contributions will directly influence the success of their clinical programmes. You'll be instrumental in developing ground-breaking therapies for patients with significant unmet needs.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Strategy: You will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of clinical trials for the client's immunology and autoimmune pipeline, ensuring compliance and scientific rigour.Study Leadership: Provide expert scientific and medical oversight for clinical studies, including developing protocols, analysing data, and interpreting results.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with a lean, dedicated team including clinical operations, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs to move assets forward efficiently.External Relations: Act as a key point of contact with investigators, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and regulatory bodies.Documentation: You'll be involved in writing and/or contributing to essential clinical documents such as Investigator's Brochures and Clinical Study Reports.What We're Looking ForAcademic Background: An advanced degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., or equivalent) in a relevant scientific or medical discipline.Industry Experience: Significant experience (7+ years for Director, 5+ for Lead) in clinical development within the biopharma sector, with a specific focus on immunology or autoimmune diseases.Early-Phase Expertise: Proven track record in early-phase clinical development, particularly with Phase I and II trials.Adaptable & Proactive: The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to take a hands-on approach.Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this high-impact role.Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and global regulatory requirements.If you are a driven Clinical Scientist ready for a challenging and rewarding contract role, apply now to join a company at the forefront of autoimmune therapy.
