The individual who is successful will be joining an established team of Personal Care Assistants helping our client discover the independence he seeks by assisting in aspects of everyday life.Location: BristolHours: 7 days on / 7 days offPay rate: 155.00 Per Day (Live-In)Start Date: August 2025Our client is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide his care to enable him to make the most of his new job in Bristol.This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference to somebody elses life. To enable our client to achieve his goals and aspirations.About Our ClientOur client has a diagnosis of Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. This is a progressive illness which causes muscle fatigue of the entire body. Because of this, he uses a powered wheelchair to get around. Although he requires physical assistance, he is able to feed himself, use his mobile phone and computer, and also carry small items. Our client is looking for a PA to help with personal care, general support and everyday life.As written by himAfter Studying Marketing at Southampton University, I have come to work in Bristol at mfldirect as a Marketing executive. Cooking is one of my hobbies and I will do this as much as possible.I enjoy going out and socialising, whether that be exploring Bristol, going for meals, attending events, so PAs who are not only prepared to, but looking forward to, supporting me with the social life are really important. I have a good sense of humour; I do not take myself too seriously.It's just really important to me that all care is undertaken in a discreet manor under my instruction - I just want to get it done so I can continue with whatever I'm doing; my personal needs shouldn't ever get in the way of living life.
