About us:The TGS Automotive Group is a rapidly expanding vehicle conversions and solutions provider, tailored to the customers specific requirements, drawing on over 50 years of industry experience innovation and recognised craftsmanship.Vacancy:We are looking to recruit three Electrical Installers on a full-time and permanent basis. The role is based onsite in Fishponds Bristol, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm with a salary of up to 14.50 per hour. Overtime is required.Purpose:To install electrical accessories including towing equipment as required to the correct standard following Manufacturers guidelines, installation instructions as supplied by the manufacturer of the part being fitted and instructions received from the Electrical Team Leader.You may at times be required to work within our compound and on customers premises. You will also be required to carry out general fitting duties as required act with minimum supervision. Decisions and results impact our success and image.Duties:Up to date and extensive knowledge of Auto-Electrical systemsBe able to work from written instruction / vehicle manualsBe able to work from Electronic / Electrical Engineering drawingsHave the ability to work to a high a standardCompetent in re-wiring / re-installingWork flexibly with a large team or on your own whilst completing call outsAble to identify faults with a Fluke / Multi-MeterAbility to and desire to complete fit-out / mechanical workBe able to complete all documents inclusive of inspection sheets, certificates and sign where neededLiaise with manufacturers or agents where neededAble to carry out all work in tight time scales and to manufacturer standardsQualifications and skills:A relevant NVQ Level 2 is a minimum requirementProblem-solving abilitiesSignificant work experience in a similar environmentGood product knowledgeComputer literateCompany benefits:Personal Pension PlanLife Insurance23 days annual holiday entitlement, plus public holidaysFree parkingReferral programmeWeeklyInterviews:Interviews will take place onsite in Bristol and will include a practical assessment approx 1.5 hours.
