Job DescriptionDescriptionAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor, you will support the Commercial Manager; helping to drive efficiencies; managing costs and regional performance for our clients. This role will see you take control of all financial aspects of the project; overseeing all commercial & contractual matters. You will deliver desired margin return utilising high standards of commercial acumen. Whilst identifying, recording and tracking, both risks and opportunities.nKey ResponsibilitiesnManage and monitor project costs including weekly P&L reportingnReview contract documents and advise on any issuesnTrack the progress and cash flow forecast informationnProduce and review commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and Project Finance ReportsnTake responsibility for Subcontract Management; including Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders and Negotiating Subcontract termsnPrepare subcontract documents, enquiries and assessment of quotationsnPlace subcontract orders, agreement and certification of subcontract valuations, invoice, subcontract payments and final account agreementsnBe responsible for the management of the change control process, risk and value managementnManage and track project changes, variations and/or noticesnAssess and value variations and compensation eventsnPrepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accountsnAttend risk review, progress and commercial meetings on-site with the ClientnBe actively involved with tenders and pricingnAssist Credit Control with cash recovery and forecastingnSupport the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspectsnExperience and QualificationsnDegree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) is desirable but not essentialnIdeally you will have experience working in the Utilities industry nSound knowledge of contracts NEC preferrednAbility to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressuresnExcellent communication skillsnHigh attention to detailnLogical mindnSalary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
