SeeByte also supports an EV leasing scheme. Main Purpose of the Role You will work as part of SeeBytes UX team to deliver the user experience of our software solutions. You will help shape the next generation of our workflows and user interfaces. You will interact with a wide range of people within UX, commercial, product, and engineering, as well as with external clients and end users. You will advocate for the end user at every stage of the design process and ensure their needs are met through the solutions you design. Key Responsibilities of the role: Design workflows and user interfaces for SeeBytes software solutions that meet the end users needs in an efficient and intuitive manner Engage with end users and customers through workshops, interviews, and in-situ observations to understand their needs and translate these into requirements and designs Work with engineering teams to communicate your designs, review implementations, tailor solutions, and suggest improvements Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications A degree in UX, Design, HCI, Computer Science with a UX focus, or similar Demonstrable skills in designing workflows and user interfaces for specialised, complex domains Experience working within, and contributing to, existing design systems, such as Material Design Proficient with UX design tools, such as Adobe XD, Figma, Axure RP, or Sketch Experience collaborating with UI engineers to see a design through to realisation Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with external partners, clients, and end users Capability to break down and plan tasks required to realise a design goal Experience carrying out discovery research, defining user stories, and translating findings into design requirements Experience carrying out user evaluations and recommending improvements to designs or implementations Willingness to travel, internal to the UK and abroad, to support on-site client workshops, demonstrations and training, usually up to 2-3 times per year Desirable Experience UX design for commercial desktop software applications, particularly in specialised domains UI implementation skills, particularly using C# and WPF A background or particular interest in user research or usability evaluation Behaviours that make you brilliant for this role You have a strong eye for detail and can design innovative, tailored solutions, but you also understand the value of consistency and can design to internal and external frameworks. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams. You use your design skills to explain complex issues. You like variation and dont mind working on more than one project at a time. You are passionate about UX and willingly share your knowledge, support others, and advocate for UX thinking within the company and our customer base. You are passionate about learning and growth and are motivated to expand your skills, ask questions, and engage actively in your development.
