Job Description Workshop ControllerLocation: Patchway, BristolSalary: 32,000 40,000Hours: Full-time, MondayFriday (some Saturdays may be required)About the RoleWe are looking for an organised and experienced Workshop Controller to join our busy service department in Patchway, Bristol. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the workshop, ensuring efficiency, high-quality service delivery, and excellent customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily workshop operations, including scheduling and job allocationMaximise workshop efficiency and utilisationLiaise with Service Advisors and Technicians to plan workloadsMonitor progress of jobs and ensure deadlines are metEnsure all vehicles are serviced and repaired to manufacturer standardsMaintain accurate job cards, documentation, and reportingMonitor KPI performance including productivity, labour hours, and customer satisfactionSupport Health & Safety compliance and workshop cleanlinessTrain and coach technicians where requiredAbout YouProven experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman, or similar roleStrong organisational and planning skillsKnowledge of automotive workshop processes and vehicle repair standardsAbility to lead, motivate, and support a teamExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience with dealer management systems (Kerridge, Pinnacle, CDK, etc.)Full UK driving licence
