Employment Lawyer

GBRS currently have an open vacancy for an Employment Lawyer , to offer general counsel in-house to our client within public services. This is a remote , part time position, working 16 hours between Monday-Friday -either 2 x 8-hour days or 16 hours spread over 3-5 days. To be responsible for internal legal advice to the Service Leadership Board (SLB), HR department and Information Governance department, in order to support personnel and protect the interests of the Service. To manage legal case files for all matters referred for legal advice and act for the Service in litigation. To gain and maintain an understanding of the organisational context and culture, in which legal advice is provided, to ensure advice is given with that cultural context in mind. This is initially working on a 3-month FTC , although this will likely be extended for the right person.
