Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer Location: Bristol, or Warwick (on-site, hybrid after probation) Salary: 75,000 - 95,000 + discretionary scope Type: Permanent Benefits: Bonus Scheme, Private Health Care, Pensions & many more Industry: Insurance The role: Shape the Azure platform for a pan-European and US business, driving cloud modernisation and innovation Be the UK's subject matter expert, working across a fast-evolving group scaling through new acquisitions and technology growth Azure Cloud Engineer: About the Role Own Azure estate management, VDI delivery, and key migration/refactor projects across 2,000+ users Hands-on platform work (monitoring, access/service admin, BAU support) plus major project delivery: cloud migrations (incl. Prague data centre decommission), environment modernisation, and secure shared services Cross-region collaboration with US engineering, SOC, and support functions Azure Cloud Engineer: Must-Have Experience Solid Azure resource administration (build/config/support for live environments) Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) deployment and management (ideally set-up, not just support) Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) admin and organisational-level set-up Service desk (Zoho, ServiceNow or similar) ticket management in production environments Security/governance exposure across Azure estates Nice-to-Have: Experience supporting/embedding AI or data science tools Azure networking projects (not a core focus) Recent involvement in M&A integration or cloud consolidation projects How to Apply: Please apply with a CV and brief cover note detailing relevant Azure/VDI achievements and notice period.
