Machine Operator

Machine Operator (AM and CNC) Bristol Permanent 28,000 - 33,000 YT Technologies very excited to be continuing our partnership with a Bristol-based hard-tech company that has developed ground-breaking new hydraulic technologies a high-speed control valve and an ultra-compact pump. We are looking for talented individuals to join them on their mission of transforming hydraulics and changing the future of motion control. I am looking to speak to talented and passionate Machine Operators with experience in CNC and manufacturing. Your role will involve machine preparation, post-processing, machine maintenance and specimen material testing. Working alongside the rest of the team, you will have the opportunity to learn about these exciting products and the processes used to manufacture the components. This role will be on a shift pattern of 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm. Essential Requirements Milling or Turning CNC operation and programming experience Has completed an apprenticeship Has 5S understanding Great computer literacy Adherence to Health and Safety Policies Beneficial Requirements Three or more years of experience running machines in manufacturing environments AM operator or AM experience Excellent communication skills Exceptional organisation and time management skills Key Responsibilities Operate AM machines, program call ups against work order priority Operate post processing systems: Powder Removal, Bandsaw, Laser Engraver, Parts Washer, Furnace Interacting with MRP system and capturing data to pass on to subsequent operations. Embodying our Health and Safety Culture and adhering to relevant policies Keeping work area clean and tidy in adherence with 5S.
