Weighbridge Operator - Energy from Waste

Weighbridge Operator 27,000 + Bonus + Benefits Avonmouth, Bristol MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Weighbridge Operator to join the team an Energy from Waste plant based in Bristol. Reporting into the Shift Team Leader, the Weighbridge Operator will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the weighbridge and managing waste trucks. As the Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for: Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the weighbridge is carried out efficiently Managing vehicles onsite to ensure a smooth and safe delivery of waste to the bunkers Using administrative skills to accurately record data. Ensure smooth communication when handing over shifts Assisting the operations team with all outage activities Other duties are required To be considered for this role you should have: Experience working in the waste / EFW sector or other heavy processing environments e.g. quarry, cement works, anaerobic digestion, water treatment etc operating an overhead crane Great administrator skills using computer maintenance management systems. Good verbal and written communication skills A good attitude and willingness to learn The ability to work a rotating shift pattern with a combination of early shifts and late shifts. What's on offer?
