Aluminium Window Fabricator

Roof Vent UK is a small family run business working within the glazing industry for almost 40 years. We have a number of vacancies to join our Production Team in the manufacturing of bespoke aluminium products including certified smoke vents/AOVs. We are looking for someone who can display strong attention to detail and quality, as well as excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. It is essential to work both independently and with a team. Good attendance, time-keeping and adhering to timelines and schedules is very important. Experience in cutting and working with aluminium, as well a precise use of tools and machinery including various saws like cross cut, chop, bead, flat bench, routers and general hand tools and drills are essential. Some experience of TIG welding would be an advantage. Also knowledge of following a Factor Production Control, including electric motor testing, inspection of materials and evaluating quality would be an advantage as well as a full UK driving licence. Assisting the manual loading and unloading of aluminium extrusions and completed products is also required on a regular basis. Hours are 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with occasional overtime TPBN1_UKTJ
