Morson Talent are recruiting for Skilled Fitters Filton | 6-month ongoing contract | 19.40 - 30.29 per hour depending on shift/overtime and stamp Morson Talent are proud to support one of our clients in aerospace a global leader shaping the future of flight in the search for Skilled Fitters at their Filton site. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-profile aerospace manufacturing environment. The Role: As a Skilled Fitter, you'll be supporting the assembly of aircraft wing structures within a fast-paced, precision-driven setting. The role is varied and hands-on, including tasks such as: Drilling, riveting, reaming and countersinking using Vanmar tools Assembly of metallic aircraft structures Deburring and fettling Touch-up treatments on aluminium Using CNC pillar drills (DONAU) Working from jigs and drawings to high-quality standards Requirements: Recognised Level 3 Indentured Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 with 35 years of relevant aerospace experience Ability to pass a Trade Test at Filton (metallics structural test) Experience working to SOPs and in a lean manufacturing environment Comfortable using SAP systems and adhering to quality/health 'safety procedures Hours & Pay: Potential shift depending on site need: MondayThursday or TuesdayFriday, 7am4:15pm Core rate: 19.40 (without stamp) / 20.19 (with stamp) Weekday overtime: 24.2525.24 Weekend overtime: 29.1030.29 Security Clearance: Baseline security clearance is required prior to start.
