Job Description Hardware System Test EngineerBristolThis Hardware System Test Engineer role focuses on endtoend testing of complex hardware systems used in AI acceleration. The Hardware System Test Engineer will work across factory test and fielddeployed system environments. The Hardware System Test Engineer will support reliable product performance through handson hardware and softwaredriven testing.ResponsibilitiesTest complete hardware systems from initial poweron through full operational behaviourDiagnose hardware faults related to manufacturing defects, assembly issues and systemlevel reliabilitySupport both factorybased PCB/system test and fieldlevel system deployment checksArchitect test plans and run automated and manual tests across full system racks and accelerator unitsInvestigate intermittent, environmentdependent and multicomponent issuesWork with design, manufacturing and operations teams to resolve defectsMaintain and improve test frameworks, scripts and toolsDocument test results clearly for internal engineering teamsRequirementsExperience testing hardware systems or complex electronic assembliesAbility to work across hardware, software and systemlevel interfacesPractical lab skills, including use of basic instrumentationComfortable debugging issues spanning boards, cables, sensors, firmware and system controlsStrong problemsolving skills with methodical test planningAbility to write scripts and small tools for automation (any language acceptable)DesirableBackground in datacentre hardware, server systems or accelerator platformsExperience with factory test methods such as JTAG, boundary scan or systemlevel diagnosticsExposure to both manufacturing test and fielddeployed hardware environmentsInterest in hardware/software hobby projects or handson engineering outside formal workIf youre interested in the position of Hardware System Test Engineer, please apply or contact Chris Moffatt for more details.
