Job Description Planning Manager Substations - South West Permanent | Client-Facing Role | Travel RequiredAn exciting opportunity has opened within a leading Transmission & Renewables team delivering end-to-end energy infrastructure solutions across transmission, distribution and renewables.As Planning Manager, youll support the design, procurement and construction of substation projects up to 400kV ensuring robust, detailed programmes and working closely with Project Managers, Construction teams and Engineers to keep delivery on track.What Youll DoProduce and manage detailed programmes across all project phasesDevelop progress trackers and benchmarking data to support delivery and future bidsWork closely with site teams and subcontractors, attending client meetingsProvide planning expertise to bids and support value assessmentsLead improvements in planning techniques and technologiesMentor and support junior plannersWhat Youll BringStrong experience planning major projects in a high-voltage environmentKnowledge of substationsTeam management experienceProficiency in Primavera P6Understanding of NEC contractsFull UK driving licenceExcellent stakeholder, influencing and communication skillsProven track record delivering change and strategic improvements
