Senior Quantity Surveyor We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded Regional main contractor based in Bristol. The business turns over in excess of 100mil, and the Bristol office has been established for 5 years, growing in presence throughout the region. They undertake projects across several sectors which include education, healthcare, housing and commercial with projects valuing typically up to 20mil. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: As Senor Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a project from pre-construction through to final account, with the assistance of a more junior member of the surveying team. You will report into the Commercial Manager. Key responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Work alongside the pre-construction team through 2nd stage tenders Oversee the project's procurement / management of sub-contractor packages Deal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may arise Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position: Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC Have experience working as commercial lead on schemes valuing circa 15mil.
