Product Change Leader

Job title: Product Change Leader Location: Filton - 60% onsite Job type: 12 month's Contract Shifts: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am - 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion) Salary: 46 per hour Umbrella A leading global aerospace organisation renowned for designing, manufacturing, and delivering advanced products and services across commercial aviation, defence, space, and helicopter sectors. They are currently seeking a Product Change Leader to join their team, focusing to drive product changes through the Aircraft Change Process. Required: Strong project management skills (PMP preferred) with knowledge of configuration management and related tools (ICC_ACP, ACC2, CAIR, SAP). Experience in Manufacturing, Design, Quality, or Production Engineering, ideally within Airbus or a tier-1 supplier. Analytical thinker with strong organisational skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environments. Resilient, driven, and effective communicator able to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively. Responsibilities: Lead modification lifecycle from proposal to closure, coordinating cross-functional teams and suppliers through key milestones (CDR, DFM, COSCR). Support Maturity and Decision Boards by assessing technical, manufacturing, commercial, and programme impacts. Oversee production trials, First Implementation Checks (FIC), and ensure accurate configuration and MRP data (e.g. SAP). Capture lessons learned and document improvement actions for continuous development and modification closure. This is a hybrid job role.
