The Opportunity Could you be the next Senior Authorised Person to help drive this success forward? Our client is recruiting for a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to support construction and asset replacement projects across SSEN and private networks. Youll carry out LV & HV/EHV switching, isolation, earthing, and issue safety documentation ensuring safe and efficient operations across networks up to 132kV. ?? What Youll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: Planning outages, producing switching programmes, and liaising with System/Local Control Isolating and earthing HV networks, fault location, HV testing, and issuing Safety Documents Leading a positive safety culture developing SHE plans, reviewing RAMS, delivering inductions/toolbox talks, and conducting site inspections Managing smaller/non-complex projects end-to-end, including client liaison, bid support, and financial oversight Supervising Jointer and Fitter teams, offering technical guidance and engineering solutions Mentoring trainee SAPs, overseeing HV operations training, and maintaining operational authorisations Acting as the lead electrical person during emergency and restoration scenarios This is a site-based role requiring travel across the region, with weekend and on-call availability as part of a rota. ??
