The ideal candidate is someone with high-throughput, low-latency systems who will lead the pod technically by example, with awareness of how to work towards strategic goals while executing short-term tactical initiatives. In this position they will receive open-ended business requirements & processes to estimate then breakdown into User Stories with the team meaning architectural knowledge at a product and code level is key success. As the most senior developer dedicated to the pod, theyd also be expected to mentor & coach the team, collaborating with them to grow their skills while meeting delivery expectations individually and as a team. The role As a Senior Project Controller, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. You will work as part of a world's first project and ensure it is accurately planned reported. Day-to-day, youll be responsible for delivering key project management functions including schedule, financial and risk. You will also: Responsibilities: Produce and communicate project reporting data on ERP systems Forecast costs and monitor and report against budget Provide the resource and financial forecast data to the business Plan, develop and maintain quality scope requirements and acceptance requirements Maintain project and costs estimates and ensure regular reviews are undertaken Skills & Experience: Ability to control cost forecasts and actual costs against the budget Ability to idenify risks and manage risk throughout the project P6 Scheduling experience desirable but not essential Ability to create clear and concise reports and manage project performance against established baselines Experience of Shipbuilding/Repair/Refit/Decommissioning environments desirable but not essential. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in engineering / project / construction management or a related field desirable but not essential A professional qualification (e.g. APM) desirable but not essential.
