Job DescriptionSenior BIM Technician Surrey, London, Peterborough, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds or Glasgow 6 Month Contract (40 hours per week) 450 550 per day Inside SC Cleared Our client is a large engineering and nuclear company operating within sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy, Education, Water and Cities & Development.They are looking for a Senior BIM Technician with expertise in Rivit and Civils 3D to work on Critical Infrastructure Transformation Programmes Working Patterns and location Hybrid 2-3 days a week on site but must be prepared to be on site if requiredThe Key Responsibilities of a Senior BIM Technician: Generating models and drawings adhering to design standards and codes to a high standard.Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.Setting up and operating ProjectWise, BIM360 or equivalent.Time management and deliverables management.Quality assurance.Ensure coordination of BIM models and resolve any clashes or inconsistencies using tools such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D or Revit.Work closely with project teams to ensure design intent is accurately represented in the BIM model.Below is a list of Key Skills required for a Senior BIM Technician, however you will not be expected to have everything:Fully competent in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Revit.Experience in implementing and administrating Common Data Environments. Sound knowledge in external works modelling such as utilities, paved surfaces, earthworks and drainage.Proficient in coordinating multidisciplinary models.Previous experience setting up and operating ProjectWise, BIM360 or equivalent.Knowledge of industry standards.Our client is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
