Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to become a valued member of our dynamic team within the UK Support Function (UKSF).Salary: Circa 28,000 depending on experienceJob Title: Business Support Officer Future Systems (12 month Fixed Term Contract)Location: Bristol (with flexibility to travel to other UK sites occasionally)Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days a week onsiteSecurity Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. Working as a Business Support Officer (BSO) in a friendly and supportive team, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Future Systems based at our Bristol site.To provide pro-active, accurate and comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Management team members to include, but not limited to:To manage complex diaries, extensive travel arrangements and expensesTo organise meetings, events, workshops, training days and participate when required and take and manage actionsCreate and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, MS One Note and MS Word documents accuratelyManage an access control process to ensure control of data and complianceUnderstanding and utilising MBDA systems, tools and policies Supporting any wider UKSF activities such as participation and contribution to working groupsThese tasks may be varied and ad-hoc in scopeSupport with document managementSupport with new starter set up and coordinating onboardingAdministration of action tracking and chasing stakeholders for status updatesAdministration of outlook shared team calendarCoordinating meetings and eventsWorking collaboratively with peersWhat we're looking for from you:Experience in a similar Business /Admin Support role; managing complex diaries, organising meetings, events and travel arrangements Someone who can exhibit a high level of resilience, communication, organisation skills and attention to detail, which is key to success in this roleSomeone who is forward thinking, who looks to improve efficiencies in working practices and processesIntermediate knowledge of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, OneNote)Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage your own workload effectivelySomeone who is an enthusiastic team player, that demonstrates integrity and maintains confidentialityWillingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job descriptionTo develop to become the knowledge point of contact within the teamConfident in building effective working relationships at all levelsParticipation in UK Support Function and personal development initiativesOur company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a givenMBDA is a leading defence organisation.
