Why Apply? 38,00045,000 base salary Bonus up to 10,000 per annum Ongoing Funding for Qualifications Clear Career Progression Hybrid Working Available (4 days onsite 1 home) Meaningful Work in both Commercial and the Defence SectorAs a Buyer, youll manage operational procurement, supplier performance, and sourcing activities to ensure efficient delivery of parts and services for critical defence and engineering projects. Youll have the autonomy to make a real impact in a close-knit, collaborative team.What Youll Be Doing: Process purchase requisitions and convert them into POs Issue and evaluate RFQs; recommend supplier selection Resolve supply bottlenecks and support project timelines Build and maintain key supplier relationships Update and manage ERP systems and order book accuracy Assist with strategic sourcing and contract negotiation Support tendering processes and cost-saving initiativesWhat Were Looking For: 2+ years experience in a procurement or buying role Strong MS Excel and IT skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and organised Degree-level education (or working towards) CIPS membership (desirable) Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (IFS ideal) Able to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)Youll Thrive Here If You: Enjoy fast-paced, impactful work Want to grow professionally with funded development Value autonomy and a supportive culture Are passionate about high-quality delivery in DefenceLocation: Central Bristol | Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in-office)
