Ecologist Permanent role Rail Industry Site location - Mainly sites across South of England Candidate location - ideally south of England but flexible Hybrid - Field work and home based Salary - 35,000 - 45,000 + Company car / allowance An Ecologist is required to join a vibrant and charismatic team, with the company's Head Quarters based in the Midlands. This is a hybrid role combining fieldwork and site visits with office-based tasks, offering a varied and rewarding workload. The successful candidate will support a wide range of ecology-related activities across multiple rail contracts throughout the UK, with a particular focus on projects in the South of England and Wales. You will play a key role in leading, advising, and upskilling the business on mitigation strategies for protected species, including dormice, otters, great crested newts, and badgers.
